I booked this with Expedia (the cheaper $741 flight) but might cancel before 24 hours. Unless I can guarantee special fare earning then it's not really worth it to position to Morocco. I guess with A fare... I would need to pay a fees to change flight to a different date? Or pay $1159 and change the flight around to hope to trigger special fare? This trip isn't that far... just 11474 miles roundtrip so even at 40% special fare rate... you'd earn like 4500 EQD.

The airline doesn't charge you extra after the fact. I'm not sure you understand what you're doing with this fare and should probably pass.
Have you received an email saying you paid 1k or did you pay 2.5k?

It's easy to say this when your ticket confirmation doesn't have these huge numbers all over it. I've booked many fares in the past and never seen anything other than the original fare appear.

Where was that quote about the new ticket price from? Email? website? Looks like you tried to change something and that's the new price.

No, it was on the confirmation email. I can't post a screenshot because of FT rules. I need to post a few more things. Sorry to everyone if it seems like spam.

Go to aa.com and go to manage trips. Once logged in, check the fare information there, near the bottom of the page. What does it say?

you will want the outbound to be BA metal, so that you get access to concord room. I have been denied access to the terminal that houses BA concorde room on an inbound F to transit intra-EU J in a different terminal.

I couldn't get any AA codes on BA metal to show up, even if using the flight number on ITA, while still getting IB codes on the first two legs. J on IB would be much better earning.

really? I can price it out with AA codeshare's specific flight no. to force it to happen, try that?
but dates are extremely limited now. If you do direct turnaround you get F fare most of the days but you will also get put on a list somewhere.

I'm only looking for one way as its an F fare and I did try the exact codeshare flight numbers.
