The fares are very attractive. Do note TAP has one of the worst records of following rules or promises, when it comes to IRROPs, refunds, changes, complaints, etc., in which case you may end up needing to go to DOT, or chargeback if CC would allow. As a global airline it has one of the worst customer service handling I have witnessed.

I grabbed another open-jaw itinerary direct through TAP for next February. SFO-LIS-VIE / HAM-LIS-SFO for $675 per person. It isn't $260, but what a steal compared to other sales, even. Ticketed already and received ticket numbers in email.

it is a very tempting fare - I almost jumped. But of course most of these countries are currently off limits to US residents. Hopefully that will change in 6 monhs but no guarantees. Fall is also not great timing for families with kids in school...
Of course it is public info. but the timing with the alert is not coincidental. I think it would be difficult for STTP to restrict dissemination of publicly available fare data, but then again Bloomberg and Morningstar seems to have business models that work.
