Incredible. Would love to book even available in November but just too much uncertainty.

Booked for November for a vacation. Here's to hoping quarantine requirements get relaxed for vaccinated travelers by then. Was able to find plenty of availability for LGA-DFW-SCL, which is nice since positioning to LGA on WN is easy (compared to EWR). Domestic legs booked as O and international legs as P. Thanks, OP.

Wow.

I got IAH-SCL in J for 900 and thought it was the steal of the century. This tops that.

In case it wasn't seen in the other thread, the nonstops in J from JFK on LAN are still in the $1100s

ex-LAX is $473 available until December

I don't think we will manage an international trip this year, but this is an attractive option

It's a sad world we are now living in... in a normal world this would have dozens of replies due to the EQM earnings, crazy strategies on getting AA Vacation to ticket it, etc etc...

thanks OP!

Been monitoring this forum forever, and this's the first deal I ever jumped! Just booked one for October. With my AS status, the international segments alone already get me almost 10k EQM and 20k RDM. Fingers crossed that Chile lifts its quarantine requirements by then! Thanks OP!

Anyone able to pull up the fare rules? I click on it during booking and it takes me to a blank page with a header

Thanks

Thanks OP
I have never been to Chile, I booked a r/t in November.
By then, I hope I will be vaccinated and Chile will be open to tourists.

Anyone have any ideas on how to tag on a trip to Easter Island (IPC) from SCL? Current pricing is showing $919 R.T. in economy on LATAM.

That route is always very expensive due to LATAM being the only carrier. From SCL, the only alternative would be using DL miles, and the lowest roundtrip price I could find is 25,000 skymiles plus tax. It is definitely cheaper than the $919 fare, although availability is pretty sparse. There are usually better prices if you fly directly from North America. For example, you can do JFK-LIM-SCL-IPC all on LATAM in Y for only $767, even cheaper than buying only SCL-IPC, but that voids this AA Y+ deal completely. So if IPC is your main destination in Chile, this deal might not be the best.

Thank you for the walk through. I really appreciate the tip on the market as it stands and some possible options. I remember seeing a year or two ago a full itinerary similar to what you mentioned, but didn't snag it in time. Looks like it might finally be time to work on some Delta points towards an SCL-ICP booking, availability permitting. Worst case scenario I think Santiago still has plenty to offer for sights and foods.
