I was going to book two tickets but decided to hold off because there might be another outbreak this Fall which means more lockdowns so not worth the headache.

Just did some math on crediting to Alaska Airlines (hopefully my math is correct)

JAL YVR-NRT-CGK(-DPS) Round Trip in X/D class

YVR-NRT - 4674 miles flown
NRT-CGK - 3620 miles flown
(CGK-DPS - 611 miles flown but don't count with Alaska as it is on Garuda on my itinerary)

EQM Total = 20,735 miles

RDM Total
No Status = 37,323
MVP = 45,617
MVP Gold = 53,911
MVP Gold 75K = 58,058

There were two different fares to the same destination (DPS). One was filed by JL and one was filed by AA. Different pricing, routings, rules, and originating airports.

for anyone who booked this ex YYZ/YUL or JFK on AA can you post the fare construction from your ticket including the tax breakdown and fare construction line? I was booking these and they got pulled, but I have a waiver to reinstate the fare, but all the fare details were deleted from the GDS
