Ah ok. I read the fare rules so knew it was possible, but still haven't gotten it to work in practice.

Too bad my calendar is jammed with travel from fall all the way to EOS, thanks to earlier deals and some viral panic sales, which this too probably is. 
I can't exactly be at the same time on board two different aircraft! 
Would've been awesome to do ex-MEX via Down Under and Aotearoa, since the TPAC options are usually darn expensive. Meh. Well, I assume more will come in the next 1-2 months.

Just booked for family of 3 in February 2021 on aa.com, for $859 per passenger, routing through LAX on AA metal to HKG both ways, with an overnight in HKG on the way back. Time to burn up some SWU's into "F" and hoping there's a vaccine by then!

Nice find! I didn't see prices this low booking on AA. Was this departing YVR?
