Please do not be surprised if the A320 is changed to a recliner seat version. Then 5 hours is pretty long.

Excellent way to experience Chernobyl and take a tour through the exclusion zone. It’s about a 2 hour drive north from KBP. Tours can be found from $110 and up. Nothing like it on such a mass scale anywhere else in the world.

yes - I did.Stopover Hotel 4* is $23 and 5* is $28

I tried to change a cancelled flight and they refused to book a stopover - this was for October 2020 (and I talked to 2 different agents), so be aware you may have the booking but may not be able to leave the airport..

Good point -- will likely be influenced by passport/nationality and the hotspots of the pandemic close to the time of travel.

How do you add the hotel through the Qatar Airway website? I booked a ticket and didn't see an option during any of the steps

Is their refund / change policy the same as the airline? For an August trip, will they refund the full hotel fare if travel restrictions don't ease?

I have no idea and wouldn't worry if not. I'll eat $28 if travel is still restricted
