Yeah there’s been reports of QR sort of going back and some agents saying you can’t make that change because “it’s not in the spirit” of the new policy. I don’t want to have to HUCA time and time again. I’ll take my one itinerary.

Finally booked on Qatar site, phl-kbp. After 3x $30 calls to Qatar call center in Doha (US call center closed at 6pm est), an agent finally changed my flight with no questions asked to Lax-Bkk. Thanks everyone!

Booked PHL- KBP and successfully changed to ORD-BKK for over Christmas. Used Chase UR pts ~109k for RT ticket. Had to call international line twice. First time was told they were reviewing the policy and unable to change. Called right back and was able to get the change. Hopefully will be able to take this trip.

A lot of people seem to be choosing BKK. I am also going LAX-DOH-BKK and back. What are other SE Asian destinations available once you book KBP?
I wanted Cambodia, but they said it was too far. Google says Phnom Penh is only 4,917 miles from Kiev. There are also reports of them telling people HKG and SEZ are out of reach when they’re not far from Kiev at all. Any other suggestions besides BKK? Personally I hate BKK and was wondering about HKT. But I figure I can just grab a $70 flight to Cambodia in the end, but it sure would make it easier if I could get to where I actually want to go.
