As everything changes almost daily and Singapore announced a completely new way of dealing with Covid I’ll rather wait a few month before asking for a refund.

The problem is LOT will not allow any more extension of the ticket.

EU261 states if the airline does not offer you the choice between reimbursement and re-routing but decides unilaterally to reimburse your original ticket, you are entitled to an additional reimbursement of the price difference with the new ticket (under comparable transport conditions).
So LOT should offer to be transported by another *A flight. Probably agents can΄t manage that by just calling them and a case must be opened in written form.

Good luck (you will never accomplish to get LOT to agree to this)

Singapore is aiming for opening the borders. This will hopefully make LOT restart the flights.

Thanks for sharing!
Update: same answer by phone. Filed a complaint and the policy is indeed not to rebook on a different carrier. Now opening a claim with the Danish Civil Aviation board.

For anyone else who wants help from the Danish Civil Aviation board but does not have a Danish ID: you can use this link to file a complaint.

Yes; rebooked one from PRG to SIN for November. Went very smooth. Called LOT Hotline in Poland.
