It's a little niche for a mainstream blog so a little frustrating, but is what it is. Can't see them sticking now but I am SIN based so have jumped in so fingers crossed. Expedia UK priced it no problem - 400MYR cancellation fee

For Mileage, your ticket will credit with three flight coupons: PEN-SIN (wether in Y or F), SIN-DXB, and DXB-PEN as a single coupon (that is how this fare is able to work within fare construction rules)

No, if you miss the first flight your ticket will be voided. With a 90 mins stopover in SIN I'm pretty sure we will disembark and you can quit there but plan not to be able to!

Ok a friend of mine just priced a double DXB transfer: Routing:
PEN-SIN(techstop)-DXB (first coupon) DXB-SIN (second coupon) Outbound
SIN-DXB (third coupon) DXB-SIN(techstop)-PEN (fourth coupon) Inbound
Total 1100USD 48,000 AS miles (non elite)
The second/third coupon can be routed on 380. Those that require techstop in SIN can only be on the 777 flight EK348/349
