My tickets are not accessible (not sure if canceled) now issued by FLY2BE
Sources have informed me that many "canceled" by expedia has reached out to EK to ask for rebooking (horrible people). That may be resulting in more reviews of other fares right now

I reached out to Cheapoair customer service and this is what they told me
As per notes, Airline made some changes so please check with airline for your ticket status as it is under airline control now

FYI had booked the ticket direct via the Emirates website Just got a call from them, saying their systems had an error with the routing, and they have a direct Singapore-Penang flight instead of the "complex" route I've been booked on at the moment. Generously offered to rebook me for Penang-Singapore-Penang, at a reduced current price. Told her I would rather keep the current flight, despite the longer routing. She tried again to get me to change the ticket, quoting the shorter travel time and lower fare. Told her I would rather keep the ticket, and asked what my options are. She said I could cancel for free, go for the rerouted itinerary, or keep the current ticket. Hope this helps!

They cancelled most OTA bookings within 24 hours, but they seem to take a different strategy with bookings made directly on their own website.
Does anyone know whether any of the cancelled previous special Emirates sales were bookable directly on Emirates.com?

You are right! If you just search for your booking again, it shows up (with the same technical error pop-up though).

I think most people book this sales fare reading this forum have booked via OTA as bookwithmatrix (or similar) was the easiest way to get YFFF before we read there exists two DXB transfer itinerary. So it wouldnt be surprised if Emirates handles those differently.
