I got a new confirmation email from mytrip.com about 2 hrs ago with my ticket number. (Yesterday’s confirmation only had the PNR even though I was able to find the ticket number on the website.)
Guess that means I’m better off than those that booked direct on EK. LOL

Booked through Travel2be, flight was ticketed. Could choose my seats and all but cancelled....

I personally booked with both Expedia and T2B:
Expedia booking is currently not able to be accessed on EK
T2B booking is fully intact, seat selected
For those that see all seats are full: It means all seats apart from 1A is full, EK blocks 1A, so if you wait, you will be able to get 1A in the end. EK does not oversell FCL as far as I know.
For those criticizing bloggers, stop.

I didn't buy a ticket but I debated it at length and decided I just didn't have enough travel time left in my calendar to make it work. I hope it sticks even after the phone call lol. Last time EK offered downgrades when there was a low price SE Asia to DXB in F(?) that they decided against honouring, last year I think. They have a sketchy record from my first deal to eu-Australia with EK, blaming OTAs autumn of 2015 and the ticket being pulled. Seems I've never managed to fly with EK.
