My experience on rebooking:
I had a STR-HEL-CAN-HEL-STR booking for June, booked through Expedia.de. Before trying to rebook, I was waiting for AY to extend the rebooking window past November.
Yesterday I called the AY Platinum line and got just told that as the ticket has been bought through Expedia, I need to deal with them. This morning I got through on the live chat after waiting for a bit over 30 minutes. I first asked about changing the destination, as CAN is no longer served. The agent told me she has to ask her supervisor, and after 7 minutes I got told that changing the destination is not possible. I then asked for a reroute on a different carrier to CAN, and was immediately told that rerouting on other carriers is not possible and that I should ask Expedia for a refund. I then insisted isn't even HKG an option as there are no AY flights to CAN, and again the agent told she will check with the supervisor. I wait for several minutes again, and then get the reply that it's possible if I will complete the travel by the end of November this year. I also asked for changing the German city to MUC, as there are no more daily flights to STR, but got denied. I then went for STR-HEL-HKG-HEL-STR in November.
A friend of mine had a BLQ-HEL-CAN-BLQ-HEL reservation for April booked directly from Finnair. He postponed it already earlier to September and as CAN was cancelled now, the AY Platinum line agreed to change it to MXP-HEL-HKG-HEL-MXP in March.

Today I was able to reschedule my flights to HKG from June 2020 to May 2021 via finnair webchat. (booked via Amex Travel) Departure is now from FCO instead BLQ. Booking class remains I. I'm happy with this!!!

My flights in June was cancelled too and they offered me a only a refund - that was in April which is still not be happened. As long they didn‘t refund the ticket - can I still try to rebook it to a later date?

In terms of the long time it is taking AY to refund I would suggest a chargeback on the basis they are well over the 7 day time limit in Art 8 EC261.

Still no refund from Expedia.De. UK expedia won't deal with, now getting emails from Expedia in France saying nothing to do with them. I didn't even contact France? Disappointingly Amex is now throwng up a header when I log in saying if I want a refund go to the travel agent. This isn't going to end well...

Just saw (on Loyaltylobby) that Finnair drops BLQ, FCO, MXP, VCE & NAP this July. Anyone was hoping to fly in July (like me)? Wondered what success one would have given that Finnair doesn't serve Italy at all. It would make sense to let you book on a route that has a double-daily connection at least, like AMS, CDG, CPH or LHR. #wishfulthinking

I still haven't received a refund, and I received an update e-mail from Finnair saying that refunds are taking up to 8-12 weeks now.
