[PREM FARE GONE] Aa/as/cx/jl - sea-sin pe - $695

From what I can tell, this fare only seems to work with a connection through LAX. I found it on Google Flights, but it is present on ITA Matrix if you search for it specifically. It seems to be sporadically available throughout the remainder of 2019. If you're looking to maximize AS miles, it seems you can get JL coded flights in E for Premium Economy at $735. Otherwise you end up with AA coded flights on a combination of CX and JL.



AS and JL coded flights which should earn 18729 AS miles, from what I can see:

If someone finds something better in terms of routing, coding, or pricing, I'd love to hear it.

Can be routed DFW-NRT or DFW-HKG and then onward on JL or CX.

Can't seem to find the JL routing.

Thanks for this find, looking for some AS mileage runs/jogs

Regarding Alaska -- AFAICT the difference between JL vs AA/CX shouldn't matter for earning because E on JL -and- P on AA both earn 100% (and neither have bonuses) on AS. Am I wrong??

Still, I might choose to steer clear of HKG -- unstable -- moreover, I'm assuming CX lounge access not granted to AS75k nor Premium Economy guests

I don't like AA because of the codeshares. Can potentially be tricky.

Also, JL PEY passengers get lounge access.

Hence I'm keen on this.

You seem to be right about the earn rate - I was just concerned about the situation where the marketing carrier didn't match the operating carrier, which was happening on the AA coded itinerary for some of the legs. I know AS seems to be lenient in practice but technically the marketing and operating carrier are supposed to match when crediting to AS.

According to your wheretocredit setup it would earn 18'491 but that isn't correct either, as the first flight is AS not AA in "R". AS earning would be 19'446 miles.

I used ITA Matrix to pull it up and then ITA Matrix PowerTools to get booking links. Surprisingly, AA's Europe/Asia/Pacific link worked in the most straightforward way and brought up the fare with no issues including the JL and AS flight numbers.

SEA-LAX-NRT-SIN;SIN-NRT-LAX-SEA; on JL coded PE earns a whoping 24,796 FOP on JAL JMB. 4 of these early next year and you get OWE till 2022 March!

Thanks for posting, great find!

On Google Flights I'm seeing an option to book through JL for $716, where the three return flights would be ticketed with JL numbers.

Can anyone confirm that if I were to book through JL with JL flight numbers, and then credit to AA, that the EQDs for the return legs would be calculated as 20% per mile flown? 28k EQMs r/t is awesome but I'm pretty behind on my EQDs this year.
