In looking for ways to get back to SFO from London, I came across the following fare for $1572, which a travel agent on this board (who can out himself if he chooses) helped me to book.
London -> SF (Dec. 31)
LHR -> SFO Iberia 7443 Economy (Q)
SF -> Granada, Spain (April 14)
SFO -> LHR AA 6187 First (A)
LHR -> MAD BA 460 Business (J)
MAD -> GRX Iberia 8936 Business (J)
Also worked to other destinations in Spain. (I'm relatively new here so apologies in advance if this should be its own thread/doesn't qualify as a "deal")

For anyone looking for a flight back to the west coast, I would recommend checking out TAP, DUB-LIS-SFO. It has thr new 330-900 neo and a great lie flat seat. A bit over $700 one way. A free stop over in Lisbon. Can be had for round-trip for twice the price.

correcting the IATA carrier code
The correct carrier code for Alaska is AS, not WS.
Ironic that the original post is from YYC - HQ for West Jet (WS)

Deal works on Expedia. Also works from other locations (eg. PAE/SEA/PDX/LAX/etc.). A little tricky to price if you don't know what you're looking for.

Yes, the ticket is issued under Alaska (AS - 027).
Can I contact WS, or should I wait? I would like to change auto-assigned seats, and I can't do it on WS.

Sent PM. Now that Repooc17 has drawn my attention to the fact this is validated on AS, I expect iit will be tough to find a traditional TA that will issue the ticket. AS does not permit agents to issue tickets with offline (other airline) segments on 027 ticket stock. You might still have luck with an OTA that has a totally automated process, though.

Please keep the thread updated if your ticket is cancelled by AS or WS.
If any ticketing error is on AS part, based on their track record, this ticket should remain valid.
