Segment running on DL(/AM/KL/AF)

I'm starting to look ahead to 2020, and I am most likely going to be requalifying during 2020 for DL Platinum with the 100 segments and a MQD waiver. I've done some initial searches looking to find domestic USA routes where DL allows 2 transfers each way, and haven't been successful.

My other airline status is AA/US, where their plethora of hubs on the east coast still allow for some fun 3-segment runs such as CHS-CLT-DCA-LGA without breaking the fare class. AA also used to have generous routing rules to Central America and the Carribean before the merger, especially in F. Similarly, Alaska used to allow a fair amount of 3-segment routes that included the SEA-PDX leg.

Other than simply racking up 4 segments at a time out of either RDU or ORD/MDW, does anybody have any strategies that work on DL, or on AF/KL when I'm in Europe 2-3x/year for vacation? I guess AM works as well.
