I would consider Alitalia’s plan but i also have some redundent flying blue miles that could do with a few extra to make it up to useable total.

As long as you understand that FB is a pain to keep miles active you should be good. I am considering SkyPesos but still pondering.

well....for me AZ gold means I can go for status match
and I will have 150k ca miles (me, my wife and my son) I can spend for another trip

How do you value EY miles?
How many miles do you need for an award business ticket?

well, EY miles vary in value greatly, but some of the cheapest redemption is with EY's program. The insane OK ICN-PRG in J charging economy mileage of most other programs comes to mind (26k). I do not have any miles in any program that I can credit this to, barring some useless 2k miles with SkyPesos, so I think EY may still be the best option.

So as this fare is a cheap way to gain status, would i still be better off crediting to Flying blue?

As compared to MilleMiglia, where the programme itself expires every few years?

But as regards Flying Blue, if you are not able to credit one flight every 24 months to keep your miles alive - or indeed if you leave your miles sitting in an account for years at a time - then perhaps frequent flying is not your game ;-)
