I just need to remember to bring my own IFE since AZ IFE is near the worst in the world.
Where I can find your FCO-LAX on AZ report?

Also for me it works fine from AZ website

If you don't know, you don't want to know. It will break your heart you missed it.

Thanks! I'll wait a bit and see. FTR, I booked through Expedia, and not direct. Not particularly sweating it - either these will be honored, or they won't.

Edit: just noticed you're UK based, so apologies by comments were best suited for US based flyers.
I'm only tiny bit jealous of all the US based flyers with the extremely generous credit card bonuses Delta is a bit tricky being based across the pond. Fingers crossed that the fare sticks!

woah I am surprised that anyone who monitors this forum regularly enough to catch this one would not even know about the CX deal 3 days ago. Let's just say ignorance is truly a bliss... I literally cried for an hour for missing that one. Let's just say it involves F, CX, HAN, and in my cases rdm cpm below 1...

Yeah, I don't think we should tell him about that one.

Oh, I do absolutely second this! Each time I read blogs with people writing how they have 20 credit cards and raking up 100,000s of miles in bonuses I get jealous.

Although arguably, there are generally better J deals in general ex-Europe - and slightly better infrastructure when it comes to airports and ground transport. So I guess in the end we can call it even with those across the pond!

And also could be worse, like living all the way down under, which I guess must be the most frustrating part of the frequent flyer world save for Antarctica! (no offence meant, I do like all of you Aussies and Kiwis!)

Managed to get one earlier but i have serious doubts if it will stick. Worst case scenario i get a refund via Amex.

Even though it’s basic economy in the terms and conditions they sold it as business on the face of it so they would probably have to honour or cancel and refund. Probably the latter.

Does everyone's e-ticket/itinerary list Basic Economy?

Mine, bought through Expedia, does (with the accompanying restrictions), though includes J seats and "Cabin: Business (E)" in the details.
