Free stopover in AKL or RAR (though tougher with only 1x weekly LAX-RAR), and coming up in Chase and Amex travel portals.

Yep - fare not showing on UA or NZ sites but clearly biz on Expedia etc. So book there and hope.

I've asked mod to delete the thread I started.

I wonder if this will be honored, rather than getting seated into PE since NZ doesn't show the price.

I was able to book stopover in AKL with this price. Certain peak periods I only see flights with UA operated (no thanks).

Anyone find an origin city besides ORD? And is it possible to do a majority of the trip in NZ instead, or would that only be possible if I booked another flight from Australia to AKL and back between these flights?

You can, as per the rules. find the departures and returns on friday and saturday respectively. Note that the minimum time at SYD/Australian city is 12 hours.
AND - UNLIMITED FREE STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT IN AKL/RAR.

Does anyone have the full fare rules (no EF subscription here), and will share them, please?

Specifically, I am wondering about changes made after the first leg is flown.
