I think they will cancel all the tickets, my flight 330 days out only has 4 open J seats on the seat map.
You can go into the Manage Booking section and see if your seats are still assigned.

Whats weird is that the reservation showing on UA website doesnt show the ORD-AKL segment on the itinerary, but shows if you have it generate a receipt.

On the ANZ website, it shows all flights.

Normal?
Showing exact same thing for me.

wow, it works via the link on Expedia!
I was getting an error message when I entered the PNR directly on ANZ's website.

How did you get a record locator working on the United site? Mine only works on the ANZ site

Go to the air NZ website and add in your UA mileage plus number. This will automatically add your reservation to your exiting reservation page and you will be able to see your record locator and select your seats on UA metal

UA & NZ record locator are different.
If you are crediting to UA then add you FF# to the record when you Manage Your Booking on NZ site and it will show up on your UA reservations with the UA PNR.

I booked one r/t on Expedia, but the PNR does not pull up on ANZ site, which says "this reservation cannot be managed online, call xxx". Another reservation on orbitz is showing confirmed but still in ticketing. I'm guessing ANZ is doing something to these reservations at this time, and it's not going to end well.

Just a datapoint from my two Expedia bookings:
My first booking (1 pax) done at 10:10a ET was confirmed in 5 mins and ticketed very quickly. I can also plug in the record locater on the ANZ website and select seats.

My second booking (2 pax) done at 1038a ET was confirmed in about 10 mins but still has NOT been ticketed. The message Expedia is showing me is as follows: "Your e-ticket is not yet confirmed. The airline will confirm most tickets within 5 minutes, but some ticket types can take up to 24 hours. Please visit your itinerary to see your updated ticketing status. You do not need to call us to reconfirm your booking."

I just called NZ to change my seat and was informed that they are unable to because the ticket was issued in error and they are working on cancelling it. Any tips on how to change my seat?

Maybe it would have been better if you didn't call?

Thanks... my next question would be, is United the best program to credit to?
