For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided. Otherwise, you may have to take advantage of TWOV (visa on arrival). Its information can be found: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/china/708095-china-24-72-144-hour-transit-without-visa-twov-rules-master-thread.html

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Eurobonus(SK)/Star Alliance Mileage run

So I haven't been flying Star Alliance that much this year, and now it looks like I might now make Gold again. The requirement is 45 000 and I need to make 38 000 by end of Feb.
Also with SAS changing the miles you earn with their flights, I an not even sure whether it's worth attempting to make Gold. But let's try.
The idea was to use the CPH - CPT flight (somewhere between 1-5 Feb return by 28 Feb), so then any other flights before the end of January I guess, or crazy routings for the CPT-CPH flight.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Departure Airport:CPH
Miles Needed:38 000
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):Just best value for the miles
Available Travel Dates:9 Jan - 28 Feb (from 5 - 28 Feb I need to be in CPT with a return CPT - CPH before month-end)
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: All Star Alliance Ok
Route(s) You've Already Searched: Several!
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No.

Welcome to Flyertalk Sparka ^

Check out this cheap SFO-HKG fare via HNL and GUM. Plenty of miles, and simple with no non UA or partner segments

Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? I can get one

Mainly posting this because I know there are often cheap OJ fares from US-Canada and I need to fly SEA-YYZ anyways by August 31st. Would be nice to earn some miles while I'm at it. Also I'm crediting to Asiana so I can consider cheap flights in business class too because they earn more miles.

When this fare becomes available in the future, you may grab a similar fare.

This link comes up at $515 but if you choose different flights it comes down to $304. I may book this and just not get on the EWR to YYZ flight. It works out if you get off in EWR to be 1.7 cpm.

TWOV for this itinerary

You do not need a visa for this itinerary. You are qualified for TWOV (arriving at Hangzhou and departing from Shanghai). For $281 (slightly different dates), it is a great deal to visit Shanghai.

45000 UA Miles needed in January 19

First one done last week. Wasn't too bad. All seats except one were good. Food on ANA was a bit dicey so loaded up at UA NRT Club. Stayed on EST and avoided jet lag.

2nd trip tomorrow. Possible tornadoes near RSW at the start so should be interesting. Seat selections better.
