For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided. Otherwise, you may have to take advantage of TWOV (visa on arrival). Its information can be found: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/china/708095-china-24-72-144-hour-transit-without-visa-twov-rules-master-thread.html

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

You're right! My expectations need to be lower these days. While not useful and off topic I long for another deal like this. $10 r/t even to Hawaii.

Open-jaw fares to China returning to Canada might be your best bet. See this thread: UA, USA to China OJ from $303 ai

Here's an example itinerary (better cpm deals are out there but this hits your mileage requirement and it's cheap): https://flights.app.goo.gl/DXU4r

The ORD-HKG and PVG-ORD legs should net you some 14k-15k miles. The itinerary should support a TWOV in China as long as you stay in the Shanghai/Hangzhou area. (Read up on this if you want to do it!)

As for the final flight from ORD to YYZ, you could risk no-showing, try cancelling mid-trip, or take it and book a ~$150 flight back to ORD after.

Departure Airport: Ideally IAD/DCA/BWI, but willing to fly out of anywhere else it's cheap/easy to get to
Miles Needed: 15 000 (TK) to keep my status, but willing to buy some miles, so any MR >5000 miles. Many tickets are 50% earning on TK now, which is how I got myself into this mess
Maximum Budget: As long as it's a true MR at less than $0.05/mi, will consider
Available Travel Dates: April - June
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Star Alliance

Route(s) You've Already Searched: China open jaw
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No

Departure Airport: EWR
Miles Needed: 15,000 To achieve Two Million Miler Status
Maximum Budget: Under $350
Available Travel Dates: One Day R/T on Tuesday or Wednesday
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: United Metal

Route(s) You've Already Searched: EWR-LAX / EWR- SEA
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? Not Applicable

PS- I haven't done any serious M/R's in years, but recently noticed how close I am to 2MM Status, and figured I could waste a day every month or so!
And I do have some normal 2-3 day trips planned on UA for later this year to MAD/CUN/CHS etc and was hoping to get new status mid 2020-- so no rush

Are you looking to get 15,000 miles by spending $350 total, or $350 for each TCON route?

Under $350 each transcon... paid $321 EWR-LAX, $291 EWR-SEA. Honestly, I hadn't even thought about it until a UA Rep mentioned how close I was to 2MM Miler, so with booked trips and expectations for 2020, I should be able to achieve it mid-early 2020 with about another 12-15,000 miles. (whats even better, the SEA routes are CPU available)

There seem to be plenty of options for UA flights on Tuesdays from EWR-SFO for $291 round trip.
