For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided. Otherwise, you may have to take advantage of TWOV (visa on arrival). Its information can be found: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/china/708095-china-24-72-144-hour-transit-without-visa-twov-rules-master-thread.html

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

1) Any other way to cover the PQM short fall?
2) Think 40 plus points > $300-400 for the trip. Am I missing anything?

IN that case,

Departure Airport: EWR
Miles Needed: 3,000
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): N/A: Fastest / quickest trip preferred
Available Travel Dates: Dec. 25 - 31
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: United metal preferred

Route(s) You've Already Searched: EWR - LAX
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No
I would do it for another long-haul upgrade.

UA:$420 EWR-IAH 3067PQM (w/ 500mi min)
Thu 26 Dec EWR-IAH-MSY-EWR
Link: https://flights.app.goo.gl/SDhwm

I figure there's less business travelers on this date, so your CPU chances are decent...ok, maybe not on the A319 flight.

You could get it over with much quicker with $311 EWR-BTV for 500PQM, and BE doesn't matter much being an E145.

I recommend calling United. I'll be 93 miles short and they were very encouraging about it over the phone. Obvs no guarantees but worth calling I'd say.

Pretty much the same request as imackie yesterday, so ends up being the same answer:

UA:$523 ORD-SJO (Costa Rica) 4954PQM
Mon 30 ORD-IAH-SJO
(4h16m nightime in SJO)
Tue 31 Dec SJO-IAH-ORD

Unfortunately, I'm not finding anything cheaper.

OP was saying that he is willing to spend up to $400 for sitting on aircraft. The $140 ($540-400) is sitting fees that he/she charges to himself/herself.
OP said that "PQD fulfilled."

Ah, thanks for the correction. I misinterpreted where it breaks into two sentences. We really need to break that question into two lines, since both should be specified on every request. But I digress...

UA:$323 EWR-PBI nonstop 2048PQM
Sun 22 Dec EWR-PBI-EWR
(6h05m in PBI)

May be possible to SDC to 11am return for 2h in PBI (or just book that one for $21 more).

Various routings available for similar pricing.

And after much effort, I found the closest match to your PQD requirement out of IAD:
