For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.

----

NOTE: You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----

*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")

NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

A consideration:

Virgin Atlantic, JFK-JNB, Economy Delight, $1081, weekends in September, about 22,000 MQMs, 4000+ MQDs
China Eastern, JFK-SIN, $573, various dates in September to pick up remaining miles, 21,000 MQMs

You might even be able to do the two trips back to back
Any suggestions on a business class route?

i'm currently sitting on 80k mqms with 2 more international trips scheduled between india-u.s. that will get me another 50k mqms....i just found out that i may have to end up taking the second trip on ua since my clients have an agreement with that carrier....i'm still trying to get out of that & fly my usual kl/af/dl route but if i can't then i'll end up about 20k-25k mqms short of re-qualifying for diamond....

Departure Airport: any airport in india....i'm also open to other airports like dxb, sin, bkk, cmb but preference would be from india....
Miles Needed: 25k for diamond....
Required Spend or Budget:
would like to stay under $3k....
Available Travel Dates: preferred dates would be 20th november - 25th december but i can even make other months work if a good deal is available....
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: metal preferred but codeshares also okay....

if possible, i would like to get the required mqms in one trip & business class routes are preferred....

thanks in advance for the suggestions....

Some of these runs have a 13 hour layover in PVG. If I want to leave the airport there, do I need a visitor visa? I am a US citizen. Thanks.

Because you are transiting to another country (not back to the one you came from), you can get free "entry" (TMOV) at immigration. You can get more details from the thread here

Departure Airport: ATL/BOS but can do a positioning trip on East Coast
Miles Needed: 47K MQMs for Diamond
Required Spend or Budget: <$1,500, willing to use my Chase URs as well
Available Travel Dates: Mid-August and/or November
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Already planning on getting one of the Delta AMEXs (for the MQMs), codeshares are totally fine especially if the yield more MQMs

In addition I suspect I'll be flying 8-10K MQMs worth for work the next couple months.

Have you considered, Hawaii? There are some DEL-KOA flights in the $1400+ (MC) price range for the early part of December but requires 3 day stay. Business is just under $3100. Immediate turn prices are in the $2370+ range. About 24K MQMs (economy). Bookable on Delta.

For that mileage and price, you are probably looking at a JFK-SIN run on MU. Some prices in the $500 range in Mid-November.

Another consideration would be DEL-JNB on Virgin Atlantic in Economy Delight. Roughly 24,000 MQMs

However, it doesn't seem you can buy it as one single trip on the Virgin Atlantic website. You can do it as two tickets though

For example,
Dec 7 - 9, DEL-LHR, 62,000 IDR (about $800), roughly 4 hours to connect to JNB flight
Dec 7 - 8, LHR-JNB, 800 GBP (about $1000), roughly 12 hours to connect to DEL flight

It was there when I made the post yesterday (Dec 4 - 8) but it seems to be gone now. Sorry.
