For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

Need $2K MQDs & 5K MQMs for 2019 on Delta
Hi,
I currently need about $2K MQDs and 5K MQMs to hit platinum status next year. I also live in New York and can fly out of any airports in the area. Would like to keep it below $1,000 total spend and have the trip not be longer than 2-3 days.
Thanks,
AFlyer

Hey Guys. Been scratching my head over this one and having trouble to get MU to search correctly in google flights.
Need: $6k MQD
Departure Airport: NYC ideally (could do LAX)
Miles Needed: $6000MQD
Required Spend or Budget: as cheap as possible
Available Travel Dates: November 17 - 24
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: none but I assume MU or KE based on MQD need/distance required/cost
Thanks so much!

If so Nov 16 - 18, Virgin Atlantic, LAX or SFO - JNB, $1067 (Economy Delight), 27,000 MQMs, $5500 MQD
You could get the remaining $500 MQDs on the positioning flight from NYC to LAX
Virgin Atlantic has other dates with these lower prices but the closest to your listed availability is the Nov 16 departure. From JFK, the MQD earning would be $4500 for JFK-JNB

A trip to Asia will give you the needed miles.
e.g. Dec 16 - 19, Delta, ABQ-TPE, $1488, 15,000 MQMs
To save a few dollars, you could reposition to LAX and take a China Eastern flight to Bangkok/Hong Kong, etc.
e.g.
Dec 16 - 19, Delta, ABQ-LAX-ABQ, $182 (BE), 1200 MQMs
Dec 17 - 19, China Eastern, LAX-BKK-LAX, $1114, 17,000 MQMs, bookable on Expedia
You could also take a Aero Mexico flight to SCL for about the same price
Dec 28 - 29, Aeromexico, LAX-GDL-MEX-SCL-MEX-LAX, $1147, about 11,000 MQMs, (immediate turn in SCL - 2 hours)

Need 20K MQM for DM, good on MQD
My problem is it must be Dec 28-31
I should have pulled the trigger on PS to PEK a few weeks ago but now return through ICN (to avoid Visa) is too expensive
$1000 would be good, but can go up to $1500
Prefer ATL/TYS/CHA/BNA/TRI but can reposition as needed. have UG certs and can use PWM or SM for re-positions
Found a nice one in Y DFW-SIN but one leg is on SQ with no points which sticks in my crawl
Priority in order
**PS or ability to use certs
**A day layover someplace cool
**Cost
