Looking for Germany - Tokyo Business. Anytime after January 29~ for 2 weeks stay.
But it looks like the cheapest I see is 3000+euro. *sigh* Does this price change time-to-time? I keep changing the date around it and hopefully they'll update the price :p |
okay! we will help each other! I've checked FRA / DUS / MUC - Jan 29 ~ no luck all of them :(

Plenty available for 1,200 EUR end May to mid June.

@seantheman @AirCanada881 - Thank you for checking! Late January ~ early Feb is perfect time for me to travel :(
I wonder if I should wait for Black Friday Sale? Would that be the same price but maybe more choices..? (like you know, right... hah) |
Do you see if there is a chance to cancel the ticket in less than 24 hours for free? Or to fix the price for 24hours like Lufthansa do?
|
This fare is really tempting, but the hard product kills it for me. The footwell is tiny, though the seat on the A330s is OK I suppose, similar to TKs

After 10+ attempts using Visa, MC & AMEX on 4 different browsers - above method finally worked me (although not with AMEX, just MC). Thanks a million. My original dates were no longer available but shifted the trip by one week - with the bonus that I get to fly the 747-8 both to and from FRA now. Very happy.

They have three still. Did a quick search on Google, seems they have previously put the 744 on the FRA route...it's hard to tell since their seat map is so terrible.

FRA is only 773 and 748. A B744 wasn‘t seen there for a long time and will surely no more in the future. |

Good to hear. Thanks!
Here you have some records, mostly CA uses Boeing 747-8 |

A shame about this in a way. The A330 seats may lack privacy and easy aisle access, but they are some of the longest beds out there - better than many first class seats for length, and very comfortable. Sad to see them go.
if you really need the direct aisle access, choose D & G seats in the middle |
Had one of these booked for Jan. Needed to change the return date (which was still within the issued ticket rules). So I phoned CA European customer service centre. They put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back to me with a price of €3000 for the change!!! I pointed out that the ticket stated €80 each way for schedule change. "Ah, yes sir, but you booked a special promotional fare, and we have very limited availability for the date you want to return." I tried to argue that the fare rule is the fare rule, but we were going around in circles. So I said I wanted to cancel, and how much would it cost? They said the best way to do it was on the website, and it's €150 for the whole trip. We shall see.

i would have suspected 80 euros plus any difference in fare if you want to change. Do the fares rules say there is no difference in fare payable?
