Has anyone used this Wifi plan with HX?

Unlimited In-Flight WiFi on 36 International Airlines for €10/mo ($11/mo)

Seems like a decent deal . . .

I see @EVA777 is listed on the wiki as flying BKK-LAX today 10/22 and that B-LGC is operating today's HKG-LAX-HKG run. Maybe they can report if it's still busted and/or snapped a photo.

Yes. It's still there.

J was about 40% capacity. Maybe this explains the lack of flights with the "new" seats. Seems that aircraft is doing a lot of Asia flying instead. Given the amount of room with the old style seats - I am fine with it.

If you guys bought tickets through HK airline's website, and your seat changed from business to economy due to an airplane swap, apparently they are calling people to give their customers a choice of either:

1. $500HKD + Free Extra Leg Room seat
2. Full refund
3. One free date change.

I asked about my seat which was bought via Travelocity, and they said they couldn't modify the ticket.

I've made a request for my SFO to HKG segment to be changed to a day early so I may spend some time in Hong Kong.
Expedia is still waiting for a response after 4 days by e-mail with HX. Will advise if it gets approved.

Did you have any luck?

I would like to change my flights to a week later. I don't mind paying a fee, but I don't want to reprice.

Super random and probably NOT an issue with the airline, but oddly today on my iPhone, I noticed an iCal notification that my HX68 (HKG-LAX on 11/1) flight next Thursday has been cancelled. Now the calendar entry was tied to the original email, and I realize this is mostly likely an iCal/Apple issue, but is there any chance my flight was cancelled?

I have NOT received any formal email/text/communication from the airline.

I went back into my record/reservation and it still shows the flight there (including my requested seats), but is there any other way to confirm that my flight is still operating as planned?

Update. After an hr on the phone, Expedia was able to change my flight to an earlier date. I wanted to spend a day in Hong Kong so I accepted the Economy flight to SGN in exchange. My recommendation, request for an Extra Leg room Seat at the same time of your request in Economy. Still don't know if they will offer lounge access with an Economy ticket.

Curious as to what everyone is doing with the miles earned on these flights? How many are you getting? Using on HX or transferring elsewhere?
