Crazy cheap fare, but I'm not really expecting HX to honor this. Either way, sitting this one out...

Decided against booking one partly because there are no good places to credit the miles.

Same. I was hoping to do it for mileage run purposes. Positioning flight to LAX required.

Wow, that's an amazing fare.

I've only done HK Airlines in J on a HKG-BKK leg and it was fine, A330 in 2/2/2 in J i think, was 2015, wasn't very generous with the alcohol had to ask for a second as wasn't forthcoming but wasn't too bothered. The dragon lounge (i think it was? it was the same one PG use on a prior trip down some stairs) at HKG was perfect, preferable to large / sterile CX lounges like the pier (bring a warm jumper) but each to their own, up from lounge seat, collect beer, return to laptop staring out at gates within 20 seconds, job done, happy days.

Booked one, went through fine just now on Expedia. Departing in one week — hopefully no nasty surprises at the airport.
