honkongairlines.com has been raising prices slowly last an hour, by a couple of hundreds of $ at a time. When I was about to buy, the site showed error message. Last half an hour, it got extremely slow and giving more and more error messages. bmorewards and expedia4TD both showing Philippine Airlines for same dates for $3K. Then I went to book on Priceline, I was able to book LAX-DPS 2/13-3/4 for USD 663. I got a ticket # and a reservation code, but hongkonairlines.com says their system is busy. At least for the same dates, Priceline still says the fare is available.

Just was able to book a LAX-PVG for $539. Cancelled my Expedia reservation and replaced with direct booking with HX. It was cheaper

If you are trying to make a booking still, make a frequent flyer account and sign in to the HX website. Search for your flights and carry through as far as you can. When it fails to complete the reservation go to your profile and bookings. Youll see the unpaid order on hold and you should be able to complete the charge. Took a while but it did ticket.

I managed to get flights for a trip to SGN in February for $620 booked via Expedia. Unfortunately I rushed through the booked and forgot to select seats.
Is there a way to select seats after booking? I can't seem to find one on the HK Airlines website.
