You can hardly move for ex-CAI fares

hmmm great post!! I am looking for BA 747 seat 1A. Wasn't possibly with the CAI-MEX though I believe.

Any particular reason for that?

1A on the 747 is a premium seat that's held for Gold card holders. You'd need a very light load to be able to hope for it to become available at T24.

Please, guys, as the fare r/t this fare is pulled, let the mods move it to the discussion forum. 'Hijacking' this thread for KHI or other similar fares might lead to dilution and lesser attention to any other intresting deals. Isn't already a KHI thread alive?

I have been keeping track of a number of highly flexible or fully flexible American fares from places that American doesn’t actually fly. I had thought this one was high enough above the sweet spot for most people it wouldn’t get heavily booked and pulled. AA definitely has some tools that it is using to detect these fares being used over certain volume. I had booked canceled and rebooked and upgraded this fare about nine months ago, using an EXP agent. I was curious if canceling rebooking and upgrading via phone would have killed it, but it remained filed. The R fares from a few weeks ago in India are similar. It definitely makes you think twice about sharing anything AA.

didn't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to post a similar one way fare

So, now that the fare is pulled and CAI-MEX would be higher priced, would someone who already purchased be able to change the travel dates without their ticket repricing to the current fare? Apologies if this is an obvious question. Sadly, I haven't had the chance to travel on too many full fare J tickets.

I was also playing around with aa.com to see if there might be any other destinations that still work. While I couldn't find any in Mexico at this price, there are flexible one way J fares ex-CAI to various destinations in Argentina for around $1950. A bit off topic, but if somebody had worked out the positioning and missed the fare, I thought they might be interested.
