Holy moly, sweet deals. Enough to put me off the CAI-ZQN deal on EK/QF... maybe.

Thanks, OP, for letting us know. ^^

Thank you. To use one of my favorite quotes from 30 Rock. "I don't believe in one way streets, not with my friends - and not when I'm driving". This is a community, like any good one there should be give and take - or at least attribution.

Not sure if there's a max stopover (fare wasn't even loaded in ExpertFlyer!), but I booked one with about 27 hours in Doha, which would count as a stopover. Planning to do the Discover Qatar free hotel stopover.

Thanks OP, all booked up for November. I can hopefully get to do all the bits I missed out on in my ex-EU AKL launch bargain trip 😀

Practice makes perfect. But if it switches to QSuites by then, you'll need to reset the game.

IIRC CBR (via SYD) will be the first flight to Oceania to get Q Suites and no other QSuites to that part of the world have been confirmed so far.

Honestly, if you are travelling with a companion, the window and seat next to it is perfectly fine. We did this last year and despite the refuelling stop at ADL due to the fuel crisis at AKL ( making it almost 19 hours inside a plane), the seats were comfortable enough. If travelling alone, the middle seats are not bad either, so don't completely discount these seats.

Very many thanks for this. Booked for 2 of us in November. Well timed flights 2h10 on way out and 1h40 on way back in Doha so no nasty 7-9 hrs stop overs. An amazing price from manchester; saves a bit ; money and time; not having to trek to Scandinavia !

I will probably drive to MAN, so it may take as long as flying to OSL :-)

I booked this today... a long weekend in AKL! Gulp! I am really excited to be trying the world's longest flight! Incredible fare for such distance and Ex UK.
