[Premium Fare Gone]: Cathay J: ORD - MLE/CMB RT ~$2,600

Fantastic fare to the Maldives or Sri Lanka, all in lie-flat. It also appears that some additional destinations in India may be bookable for a similar price with a combo of American / Cathay / Cathay Dragon. For the Male variant, the equipment is 77W ORD - HKG and A333 HKG - MLE and likewise on the returning legs. The Male variant appears to be CX's I fare class and crediting ~48.4k RT to Alaska with no status.

I'm not allowed to include links until I've reached 5 posts, but visit GF and use sample dates 6/4 - 6/13 for ORD - MLE and a price of $2,569.

Enjoy!

What destinations in India do you see in the USD 2600 region?

You can find this on ITA as well as GF. Bookable directly on the CX website for the same fare.

They blogs will be picking this one up, if they haven't already. Understandably, readers are jones'ing for some non Qatar (and other worse airlines) business deals, especially out of the US.

Nice fare. AMEX IAP discount might be worth a shot.

This is a great price on CX! It seems available on the Indian subcontinent - BOM/DEL/MAA/BLR/MLE/DAC/KTM/etc

Can work a stopover in HKG on the way as well for about $200 more...

shek3112 Mar 9, 2018 6:09 am

Looking at the fare rule seems it's free stopover at US gateway city too... Anyone able to construct one?

frebay Mar 9, 2018 6:55 am

Was able to add a stopover with this itin, same price:

Called Amex IAP, it's the same price.

It is the same price, but far slower to book. I had forgotten how painful it is to work with an agent over the phone. Thank goodness for OTA.
