Booked Muc-Tpa for the $1610 fare and stretched the max 3 stay period out. Now I just need a flight from Tpa-Muc that goes before and returns after. Have to go to Germany twice this anyways this year so might as well experiment.

There are also fares ex Germany in the 1800 range. I'm not going to dig them out in this thread... The LO and SK fares for example allow free changes and book into Z or D. The ATI+ P fares are rather restrictive in comparison.
