Just went to buy a trip for September... if it's not dead, it's definitely gone from September. I was going to buy it yesterday but a friend said he may be heading to Singapore around the same time so waited for his date to firm up, which it just did... I'm so frustrated at myself for waiting I can't even see straight.

it is definitely gone, this morning I grabbed one for a few days stopover in Tokyo and direct same day return from sin for CAD $2681 during labor day long weekend.
did not want to go to Asia for a few days, but the price is just so cheap, so I grabbed one. even though it is ANA business class seat, it is gonna be a tiring trip.

For everyone who is interested in this fare, the fare basis is still listed in GDS system, but UA temporarily disabled it for pricing. I believe the reason is someone messed up the fare basis season section, now it reads
PERMITTED 01MAY 18 THROUGH 14JUL 19 ON THE OUTBOUND
TRANSPACIFIC SECTOR.
It doesn't make any sense for UA to publish fare 18 months in advance, so I am almost certain it should be 14 JUL 18. I believe this fare will be back after it was fixed.

TBH I have only flown NH 777 in J, so don't know how their new 787-9 compare. 777 was excellent, so personally I'd opt for that - but as long as they are lieflat, all should be good.

Darn...was hoping that it would return. I waited too long and missed out. Now, instead of $1985 YYZ-SIN, it's almost 3x the price! Congrats to those who got in on it...a great deal! Was hoping that QR would have prices today similar to last year's sale, but no such luck. Looks like it's Y for me!
