Thanks for posting. Agree, can't get it to work from AMS but does work from NCE so maybe *A flights are just available in France? Works to lots of US and Canadian cities east of Chicago. Also LAS for about €100 more and SFO/LAX for €200 more. Books into P Class though so may only be 100% miles with some FFPs.
