Also, it only earnt 50% miles on DL/FB on the NRT-CAN segments and nothing on the YVR-LAX segments.
It was also available from YYC I believe.
The link doesn't work but I can still get $583 all in on the same dates.

I'm not sure what GDS means but I'm confirmed for April 11-18 x 3 and it was $583 each. Can't wait to go

Oh wait. Now I see it.
GDS is a travel agent system used to book tickets.

I think I know why this works

LAX-CAN isn't showing any base fare but will charge taxes and YQ.

So, all you are paying for is YVR-LAX.
Can anyone comment on how many miles Z gets on CZ?

Hmm... well, it was supposed to be a joke because there aren't scheduled flights between the US and Cuba. I guess I should give up my dreams of becoming a comedian.

actually there are... well, maybe not normal direct flights, but easy to find and book if you connect somewhere. You won't find them on ITA though.

AA and CO both have chartered nonstops to HAV from lower 48. MIA-HAV in AA's case.

.. a few days ago I would have thought that was a joke, then I saw this..

on a side note, the US used to offer free flights from almost anywhere to the eastern tip of the island.. return flights were often much harder to come by
