You could probably do any transcon flight in business and get the MQMs and MQD spend required in one trip. Same day turns available as well.

SFO-MSP-RSW-ATL-SFO $757 | $667 MQDs 8,490 MQMs
https://www.google.com/flights/?f=0#...sc=b;a=SKYTEAM

SFO-SLC-BOS-MSP-SFO $711 | $625 MQDs 8,127 MQMs
https://www.google.com/flights/?f=0#...sc=b;a=SKYTEAM

You just need to figure out where you want to fly.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the points game. I live in northern Canada and I'm trying to bump up my Flying Blue/Skyteam/Delta miles to get to Silver. Here's my info:

Departure Airport: YYZ, YTZ
Miles Needed: 2,000
Required Spend or Budget: <$500
Available Travel Dates: 22-24 October, 28-29 October (only dates I'll be in Toronto and available to travel)
Codeshares okay: Earning Flying Blue Miles, so probably MQM?

Welcome to FT, flyarctic! Flying Blue/Skyteam/Delta are three different things.

Flying Blue is the frequent flyer (FF) program for AF and KL. Delta is for Delta. While Skyteam is the alliance these three are members of. So which FF program do you need miles for?

Check google flights/matrix. You can do SFO-ATL/JFK-SJU. Pricing can vary between $450-$650 depending on dates.

Should net you about 7500 MQM depending on layover airport.

Thanks! I actually need miles for Flying Blue. I'm in North America and I don't have the time for a transatlantic trip, so I guess I'm restricted to Delta as the airline from which I can earn miles.

Here's my updated info:

Departure Airport: YYZ
Miles Needed: 2,000
Required Spend or Budget: <$500
Available Travel Dates: 22-24 October, 28-29 October (only dates I'll be in Toronto and available to travel)
Codeshares okay: Yes (Earning Flying Blue Miles)
