Trying to get as much of my MRing as possible done before starting a new job. Multiple shorter trips are awesome too. Just want to knock it out and put me close enough to finish it up in December.

Welcome to flyertalk, thirdworldmedic! I presume you are looking for DL Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQM's). If you are able to travel to MKE or MDW/ORD, it would be cheaper to depart from there. Something like MDW-DTW-NRT-SIN r/t, would earn you ~20k MQM's for $720. https://goo.gl/flights/LKAl

DL "metal" has the DL livery painted on the plane. Codeshares are airlines that partner with DL that may or may not fully earn the same MQM's as a DL flight. That's the simplest explanation I can give. I suggest you look around the DL forums or website for more info.

You could do this: https://goo.gl/flights/SPTe

and nest this: https://goo.gl/flights/1Mvv

inside it.

Genius itinerary! ^

Just cross your fingers you don't run into irrops ex-ANC, else delays will make you miss the return flight to MSP.
