[PREM FARE GONE] Aa: Hkg-gru - f - $5700

Found a decent fully flexible fare from HKG-GRU via DFW all in F on American's 77W, which books into the full fare bucket (F) for 3x EQM.
Wide open availability, but it seems like departure date must fall on either a Wednesday or Thursday.

It looks like the fare basis code is F. Only the HKG-NRT leg is marketed as CX; the rest are AA. So not sure it will be a significant difference in terms of EQD.

Also, am I correct in seeing that one legs is in economy when going through NRT on CX/JL?

EQD is calculated based on ticket stock. If the entire ticket is purchased on AA then you get what EQD you paid for the ticket minus tax and fees, doesnít matter which carrier you fly on. You only earn EQD based on class of service and distance when itís issued on non AA stock or through bulk pricing(vacation packages)

I'm not sure that's correct (or at least that is not my understanding of how EQDs work). My understanding is that flights marketed by oneworld partners (even if purchased on AA stock) will credit as a percentage of miles flown. By your logic, CX-marketed flights purchased on AA-stock would earn EQDs in economy, and that has not been my experience.

In any case, I think it's better to book HKG-NRT as an AA-codeshare for the higher EQMs. I have the following:

Not true. Ticketing stock has nothing to do with it. It is the marketing carrier that is important for determining which chart to use.

EQD is calculated based on ticket stock. If the entire ticket is purchased on AA then you get what EQD you paid for the ticket minus tax and fees, doesnít matter which carrier you fly on. You only earn EQD based on class of service and distance when itís issued on non AA stock or through bulk pricing(vacation packages)

Anyone able to price this with stopovers?

The rules state UNLIMITED FREE STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT. but when I try it reprices to +$15000.
