DL isn’t horrible. I think Seatguru has them at a 21” seat width compared to a 23” on VA.

unfortunately I used pay with points for the 50% rebate and I don't have enough points to book 2 more unless I get the previous ones refunded

Not sure if it's worth calling Amex to cancel & re-book, it will likely be dead by then.

I got Delta as well since I needed to fly out on Sunday and there was no VA option. Delta's 777 is herringbone seating so I figure it can't be too bad. Of course, VA is definitely the better option if it has the new seats, but I am not sure the flight out of BNE has the new seats?

Eh..they don't refund you in points. At least, they did not give me an option when I asked previously.

I cant find any of these with pay with points. Any tricks?

good point. oh well, one longhaul on DL isn't the end of the world, still a heck of a deal.

i can't reproduce it on amex travel anymore

Thanks to the OP for a great fare find. I used AMEX Travel so it cost me 45k points after the rebate. For those searching in AMEX Travel try different cities. Not all worked for me. I routed CHC-BNE-LAX-PHX.

Thanks OP! I booked 12th September - 26th September. Don't really want to go to OAK but this is a cheap way to get to Vancouver so once it's all confirmed I can book my onward flight.

Why didn’t you book to SEA?
