November's DOT complaints have been published; the DOT received 255 complaints about Virgin Australia in the "Fares" category, which I assume are mostly related to this fare.
It's encouraging to see people taking the time to document a complaint with the DOT, even though VA's response has continued to be abysmal.

[FARE GONE] DL: AKL-OAK / USD902 (Business Class)
On the OAK fare people are be treated better by DL compared to those who booked it with VA
