As great as it is to price things out on ITA, has anyone been able to price things on an OTA?

I've been trying to get ICN-HKG-SYD/SYD-SCL/SCL-MAD/MAD-LHR-SIN-TYO but priceline hasn't been able to price it out.

It’s all in this thread.

I can book nice initineraries, but has anyone been able to route SCL to TYO via SFO or LAX?

Cheers. Never noticed that LAN was disabled in the powertools.

I tried with Priceline and they ticketed it with a LAN (045) number.

Mine also ticketed on LAN (045) stock via a Travel Agent. It is, after all, a LAN fare. 😉

I can't get SCL-SYD-DOH-NRT to price out (19k)

Theres lots of inconsistency with this fare.
The MPM for SCL-TYO is 16,251. That means the max allowed is 20,313.75 (125% of MPM).
SCL-GRU-MAD-JNB-HKG-HND is 20,310 miles and should be the maximum that is ticketable.

Your first one is too far. The third one backtracks between IATA zones, which is usually a no-no.

A trouble-free trip, only delayed by immigration officers in the Seychelles, where the problem was a flight from Chile and misunderstanding RTW routing. Chile is a potentially dangerous country of the third world for these officers .

Is it a direct turnaround at Seychelles, or did you have some time on the ground?

Maybe not a fantastic deal, but got MEL (January for Australian Open) to SCL (six days) to SFO (home base). Then SFO to NRT in mid-April for Cherry blossoms. $2K. Economy MEL to SCL, then business the rest of the way.
