*EDIT* As of 1:55AM, still bookable on Expedia, but not on JAL. Also, only 9K EQMs, not 18K.

From TheFlightDeal: http://www.theflightdeal.com/2017/04...ing-all-taxes/

Good 1-stop availability from September-February. Some next-day turns available for ~4 days total.

San Francisco [SFO] – $435
Los Angeles [LAX] – $328
San Diego [SAN] – $442
Dallas [DFW] – $418
Chicago [ORD] – $328
New York [JFK] – $328
Boston [BOS] – $418

JL-marketed N class flights earn 6% of mileage as EQD: https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...n-airlines.jsp

Haha, anyone have any idea how a ticket with both AA and JL marketed flights would earn EQDs? AA policy for AA flights and JL policy for theirs? I'm seeing:

SFO-LAX (AA 6016)
LAX-NRT-SIN (JL 61 / 711)
SIN-HND-LAX (JL 36 / 2)

$430 bookable on AA, which would allow for a free 24-hour cancellation (no hold).

Any comments on JL v AA econ? Seemed like JAL's SkyWider seats put AA to shame so I forced everything onto JL metal.

Just snagged ORD-SIN at 12:20 am central on expedia.

Only took a quick look, but I think N class is .5 EQM on AA, so ~9500 EQMs not 18k+?

Earns 30% on AS = 6041 EQM per RT. Great fare, terrible for partner EQM.

JAL coach at this point is close to other carriers premium economy. 787s with only 8 across, better legroom on 787s/777s etc..

Not the greatest MR, but I needed a flight on short notice and this is a better value than burning miles.

Was able to book through AA.

Jl Y is 34 inches legroom which is pretty similar to AAs MCE. IFE is a bit lacking, but I always enjoy Japanese crime movies.
