Some of you guys are real ITA wizards!
Assuming that this is ticketed by AA-
Those EQD's wouldn't even put someone at Gold, though. And once one makes up the remaining EQD's to reach 12k, hitting 100k EQM's generally comes with it. So those EQM's are probably just major overkill...
And with fare-based RDM's these days we can't even get that many award miles out of the deal, granted it's nothing to sneeze at, but it's not fantastic.
Unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure I see great value in putting this under AA..

At first pass, I'd agree. But fortunately, AA hasn't demonstrated much ability at accurately applying EDQs on multi-airline tickets. Even some of my AA coded and operating metal tickets received distance based EQDs on tickets which include other airlines. IMO, the best strategy for EXPs would be to book only AA coded/operated when you can use SWUs to upgrade to F. Then book as many partners as possible, either their own metal or partner codeshares on AA metal.

What are the EQDs? If anyone posts EQMs, would you be so kind as to post the EQD's as well and list all the formulas you use to compute EQMs and EQDs ? Please ? Thank you.
CAI-LHR-CAI - BA J - ~4394mi x 150% CoS bonus = ~10986EQM + 100% RDM class bonus (~5493)
LHR-JFK-EZE-DFW-LHR - AA J - ~ 18769mi x 100% CoS bonus = ~37538EQM
DFW-PHX-SNA - AA I - 1368mi x 50% CoS bonus = ~2052EQM
Total miles ~24531
Total EQM ~50576
Total base RDM ~56069
MVP (+24531 x 50%, ~12266), total RDM ~68335
MVPG (+24531 x 100%, ~24531 ), total RDM ~80600
75K (24531 x 125%, ~30664), total RDM ~86733

For AA earning, here's what I wound up with, assuming all segments were marketed as shown. If we assume that the fare is distributed at the same ratio as the miles, AA EQD might be somewhere around 80% of 2500 = 2000, for total of 3100 very roughly.
Code:
MILES EQM EQD CAI-LHR-CAI BA J 1.5 4395 6593 1099 LHR-JFK-EZE-DFW AA J 3.0 14019 42057 DFW-PHX-SNA AA I 2.0 1207 2414 DFW-LHR AA J 3.0 4751 14253 TOTALS 24372 65317
If all segments were BA-marketed, EQM would be 1.5 * 24372 = 36,558 and EQD would be .25 * 24372 = 6,093. No, you don't get to "earn 40% EQD for AA J" from the Special Fares table, which presumably is what you had in mind.

Yeah, but if AA cannot determine fare data, it reverts to a distance based chart. I was curious if non-001 stock always = the distance based chart. That is how it is for UA.
