Thanks for the answers. I can wait and cancel just the day before, so let's see what happens next week once the first ones hopefully take this flight in C.

But unsurprisingly not much activity. Those booked on the flight are probably still in the air...

Was just on the German site reading traveler reports (OSL-ARN-ADD-CPT). Sounds like it all went well, no problems. I will wait, though, for a few more positive reports before booking my South African lodging.

Now we are just waiting for reports from pax being successful in changing travel dates without the fare being recalculated (and not just rebooking the return flights after flying the outbound) Ticket validity (NVA) is stated to be 1 year from the date of the first flight booked.

Why should that be possible? Of course they will recalculate it.

You should be able to change the return, but if you change it before the outbound departure it would be recalculated.

The first flight has departed OSL, any feedback if they did in fact degrade anyone?

they did not downgrade anybody... they even assigned seats automatically for my fanily in row 1 since we have an infant in the booking... seems they are honoring it....

I'm also very interested in hearing reports of anyone successfully doing this.

I should point out that, while it is probably possible, it would be incredibly stupid to attempt to make any changes to any mistake fare. Don't provoke the sleeping dragon or you might find yourself in trouble....

Seriously? You booked a mistake fare and want to make changes to it?
c'mon man, not only is this highly selfish but you run the risk of ruining the deal for yourself as well.
