Seems to me that this press statement should serve as a reason for blogs to stop labelling fares as 'error fares'.

I hope your 8 hour stay is not in one of SYD's interview rooms!!
Earlier in the year I was doing a mileage run via Australia, the officer asked "why are you staying in Australia for only 2 days?". I was about to explain to him so I said "Do you know what is a mileage run..." He didn't even let me finish my sentence got my passport and stamp it ^

And you were advised here not to make non-refundable plans around this...
Only my segment from flr-tko is cancelled thus far. To me it seems Alitalia has cancelled their segment without rerouting me.

Because had it not been so labelled on FT you would of course have thought it was entirely legitimate and not a mistake?

You must be dreaming!
There is no such thing as a sale or promotional fare (which is real good).

I'm wondering if what AZ is doing is legal... I understand that if a ticket is sold for travel from A to C, via B (A-B-C), airline has a right to change it in any way they want, so it can become A-C, A-D-C, or whatever. However, our tickets are full fledged A-B-C multicities, we paid for travel from A to B, and from B to C - can they really change the routing so easily?

Clearly some here have entered the "bargaining" stage of grief

Have a look to my report for a detailed visit
flight-report.com/fr/report/20319/Air-France-AF1727-Venezia-VCE-Paris-CDG
All is in French but, as far as I understood, you're perfectly fluent

Very nice place and food offering is great !
The lounge was refurbished just recently, probably before the arrival of the big M.E. friend in VCE

Don't know about MXP but LIN really needs something to be done...

Sorry for a newbie wuestion, what is 14 days window? Any EU regulation on that?

Not a chance. They would cancel it regardless of what anyone called it.

As suggested to someone else, you should definitely proceed with a class action, what AZ did is entirely outrageous
