Mileage run...
Earlier in the year I was doing a mileage run via Australia, the officer asked "why are you staying in Australia for only 2 days?". I was about to explain to him so I said "Do you know what is a mileage run..." He didn't even let me finish my sentence got my passport and stamp it ^

No. You have been re-routed on a more optimal journey so you are good to go. Your ticket has NOT been cancelled. You are still good to go from FLR to DUS.
If you choose not to travel, that is your decision.
And you were advised here not to make non-refundable plans around this...

I'm wondering if what AZ is doing is legal... I understand that if a ticket is sold for travel from A to C, via B (A-B-C), airline has a right to change it in any way they want, so it can become A-C, A-D-C, or whatever. However, our tickets are full fledged A-B-C multicities, we paid for travel from A to B, and from B to C - can they really change the routing so easily?

All is in French but, as far as I understood, you're perfectly fluent
Very nice place and food offering is great !
The lounge was refurbished just recently, probably before the arrival of the big M.E. friend in VCE
Don't know about MXP but LIN really needs something to be done...

I have just been called back by Expedia UK and told that my outbound flights FLR-CDG-HKG on AF on Dec 26 were cancelled because of a 'system error', and will be reinstated tomorrow. I don't believe it for one moment but, if it really did happen, I would guess that it might be because my departure is within the EU 14 day window and Expedia or AZ don't want fights over that.
