As long as the ticket remains fully refundable then not really, more just incompetence in the first place...

Seriously they cant just change the ticket like that. Have a 2month stop over on one of the tickets, so clearly intent not to only travel to DUS but staying in LAX for 2months returning to DUS.

Nothing at all from them, just an email and My Flights reflects the new segments. On hold to Opodo who I booked it through now.

Was booked on the Friday evening, for travel on the 30th December, to NRT.

They can do anything they want on their tickets. Whether it is proper/legal/binding/etc is another issue.

My route is FLR FCO AUH MEL all in one day then staying in MEL for month before jumping on to DUS flights. So I'm not sure how they can redirect my flights.

FLR-FCO//1 month stop//FCO-DUS as was the intention

Or heck, they may break the fare rules and put you on FLR-DUS direct on AB

Fingers crossed for the early birds who flew on their tickets earlier this week and are probably somewhere a long way from home right now...

But what's the "it"?

were you alerted by email, by MyFlights, just discovered it by accident?

What does your ticket look like now? Routing? Class?

Intention or not, it isn't illegal to book fligts departing one city with multiple stops with long stays before returning to another city.
