For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Thanks, great suggestion Madone59! Once I zoomed in on google flights Explore I see some options ORD to AMS or ORD to MIL. I can certainly enjoy a night or two in any of these cities, especially around Christmas Market season!

Understood.

I am DL Diamond as well, but last couple years UA has had better itineraries and more, larger jets in/out of MSO, especially to East Coast. I made 1K this year by concentrating on UA and it has been nice to have. It just seems like I'm "upside down"-- whereas everybody just needs a few PQM, I need chunk of PQD$. The ITO deal is kinda tempting...

I see you being able to get this done for $1,500ish. If you want to adjust your budget I am sure people will help you find an MR.
Fair point. I'm not experienced so not sure what would be considered normal. It looked like a few posts above someone got an ORD-SYD RT for 3.8 cpm, and I think $600 for 15k is 4cpm? I realize that may be kind of a 'unicorn' situation.

Anyway I could definitely be open a higher budget, just trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Is $1000 reasonable, 6.67 cpm?

Are there any best practices I could follow to try and find my own cheap runs? I remember trying some kind of (maybe) IATA website tool thing a few years ago, but tonight when I tried googling the search results didn't seem promising.

Thanks again for the good input.

Need 2 more United Segments from SFO

Didn't really fly United this year and I need 2 more segments on United for Premier Gold.
Any ideas where to go from SFO before the year ends?
Either something cheap or worthwhile/interesting. Cheapest I found so far was a day trip from SFO-LAX for $150.

Thanks for your help.

Departure Airport: ORD
Miles Needed: 9041 PQM for 1K
Required Spend: N/A (Over $12k in spend already)
Maximum Budget: As cheap as possible (Have GPU / RPU available to use)
Available Travel Dates: Prefer to do is next weekend (Can do anytime Friday - Monday)
Required Metal or Code Shares Okay: Any metal is OK

Would also prefer a place where I would not need a visa - or if there is a quick turnaround where I would not require a visa.

$147 SFO-LAX-SFO is the cheapest I saw between now and EOY. I'd grab that and fly it!

EWR-MCO-EWR on 12/17 is the cheapest option I see at $249. Happy MRing ^

Thanks
Isn't there a way for me to avoid flying? Don't mind paying a lot for the miles since it's only 1700

Yes - Premier Accelerator. With only 1700 PQM required, I agree it is worth considering vs a $250 MR.

You can see the rates that other FTers have recently seen here:
United Airlines Award/Premier Accelerator Rates [2018]

And some good info about Premier Accelerator in general here:
Consolidated Award / Premier Accelerator questions
