I called platinum Line and they said they are unable to break into two tickets because of the fare class
if they try to break it it gets a different price
What do you suggest

How much risk will you take? You can take an earlier and later EWR-SFO flight. I do not have experience in breaking up "direct" flight on travel day before. If you call again, another agent may do it for you. Good luck.

IAH-NRT-KUL may be slightly easier for your body than IAH-SFO-SIN!
