For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Call 1K line to split the direct flight into two. If you book for Dec 13, as in my link, you do not have the same issue.

I called platinum Line and they said they are unable to break into two tickets because of the fare class

if they try to break it it gets a different price

What do you suggest

How much risk will you take? You can take an earlier and later EWR-SFO flight. I do not have experience in breaking up "direct" flight on travel day before. If you call again, another agent may do it for you. Good luck.

Big run out of IAH before Christmas

Departure Airport: IAH
Miles Needed: 14,578
Required Spend or Maximum Budget: Budget ~$1,500 - $2,000 (but obviously cheaper is better)
Available Travel Dates: prefer weekdays instead of weekends before the 25th
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:
Route(s) You've Already Searched: I can do two bounce around the US to SAN and LAS for $1,700 total in first class but it eats 2.5 days; SIN eats 48 hours at the most efficient
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No

I'd love to do this in under $1,000, but I don't have a big urge to do IAH-SFO-SIN in coach. I can do two trips for $1,700 total to get the miles, but would like to find something more efficient.

IAH-NRT-KUL may be slightly easier for your body than IAH-SFO-SIN!

App will give you all options with one- or two-segments if your fare class is available. Agents can do three segments. For example, you can change LAX-IAH-FLL to LAX-EWR-FLL, but not LAX-SFO-EWR-FLL. An agnet can do the latter.
Edit: In case that SDC fails, you can do a PQM accelerator by booking a refundable short trip (and cancel it within 24 h). Go to United MP forum to find out more details.
Good luck.

Search for PHL-YVR and make sure that you get enought PQMs for the selected routing. It is an amazing deal (I do not want to post it here). For example, slected EWR-SFO-YVR, instead of PHL-ORD-YVR. Good luck.

There will be an overnight stay for this itinerary. But it is damn cheap for this time of the year!

Not quite as cheap, but would be my preference:

UA:$974 IAH-BQN rt in First 11940PQM

UA1071 EWR-BQN 2004-0050+1day

UA1078 EWR-IAH 0830-1144 B752 **LAY-FLAT**

On the IAH-BUR run, if there's a way to drop the SFO-BUR-SFO that would probably be easier on you, and you still get 15kPQM+. (It might happen naturally, the first connection is 52min.)

And two lay-flat segments on the second run is pretty nice...

I'm not finding anything really cheap. At least this one is interesting...

So the two short segments will clear immediately if you still have a pair of RPUs. Anybody know the chances of clearing the long segments on Xmas Day?
