For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Hi,

First time doing this. I appreciate any help with achieving gold status. I need to get PQD of $807 with the shortest time investment possible. Is it just as simple as buying a United first ticket on the most expensive date? I am exploring on united's site but PQDs are highly variable.

Departure Airport: CLE
Miles Needed: 0 (Already met my PQM: 62,487)
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): $807 PQD needed
Available Travel Dates: December
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Yes

Route(s) You've Already Searched: India and China given that you can hit PQD pretty fast
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No

Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? Yes, but not applicable in this situation

If you travel lightly, no check-in luggage, or with Chase MP CC, you may check out Economy plus subscription rates. You will get E+ seat at booking, instead at T-24 h with Silver status.

Does HKG require a visa for US nationals? That seems pretty good for US$510. Also pondering if it's better to just let gold go and maybe buy a E+ subscription (the main thing I really really like about having gold is E+ at booking), since I also have the Chase UA & Sapphire reserve cards, which give many of the other benefits, or an approximation of them.

Lounge access for international travels and companion E+ seats.
No visa for visiting Hong Kong with US passports.
Good luck.

After seeing response to my PQM needs, I purchased a ticket from ewr to hongkong for $700 which will yield me 16000 PQM. Am I missing anything ? The ticket seems very reasonable.

Welcome to Flyertalk ^ It's a few bucks above your budget but CLE-OGG works. KOA and HNL are similar.
