For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Thank you. Need to figure out the SIN one. It will be rough to land and depart the same day. I wonder if there are any shorter trips but in discounted business which will give me more miles. You gave me a great one recently on AA.

I've never used a GPU before, so I'm looking for guideance on likelihood of clearing. Can someone give me some thoughts? SFO-SIN has J=9 and 24 seats showing unselected. SIN-SFO shows J-9 and 19 seats unselected. It's only 2 weeks out, so I'm hoping the probability is high... 1K status.

Many thanks!
These two threads on United forum may answer your question. Good luck.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and looking for an advice in booking tickets for a trip from London to New York in the end of May:

Departure Airport: LON - NYC
Miles Needed: 9,000 or 18,000, depending on the class fare
Required Spend or Budget: Flexible
Available Travel Dates: 21/05 - 27/05 (+- 1 day)
Required Metal or Codeshares okay:

I am registered with the Aegean Miles+Bonus, if that would help, and need to get from Silver to Gold. Many thanks in advance!!

Welcome to Flyertalk purplexed ^.

I does not look like you are actually booking a mileage run, and are making a fare request which are not allowed. You may want to re review this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...ser-guide.html

Thank you very much for your prompt reply, but I thought an MR could be destination and dates dependant.

I noticed that too. Price is coming up as $650ish but return flight shows 0 PQM, 0 PQS and 0 PQD.

SFO-HKG-SIN-HKG-SFO will give you about 17K miles for $1122-1168 in W class. The trick part is to find the R spaces. Around the Chinese New Year (Jan. 28, 2017), there are some R's available, for example, Jan. 31-Feb. 2. Good luck.

Departure Airport: SAN or LAX
Miles Needed: As many as possible
Required Spend or Budget: Flexible, but looking for something with a good CPM
Available Travel Dates: pretty much any time of year
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Codeshares ok as long as PQMs are maximized, but UA metal preferred

Thank you!

What do you guys use to find these nowadays? Finding that the stickies and wikis talk about tools that no longer seem to work.

Thanks! If I could get away on 1/31 I'd book this in a second. I can't find R availability aside from the dates you've found. (You're good!)

Well, keep checking the availability of R spaces every morning, especially for flights within a week. Sometimes, your persistence will be paid off. Good luck.

Departure Airport: ORD
Miles Needed: 7081
Required Spend or Budget: <300
Available Travel Dates: Most days, except Tues/Wed. Must be before 2/28
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: UA required

Trying to hit KF gold and UA gives 100% mileage flown on all tickets so this seems like the simplest way.
I found:
https://www.google.com/flights/#sear..._ALLIANCE;eo=e

I've been trying to look for a shorter turnaround/cheaper option haven't been successful.

You can do two RTs for $121 each:

https://www.google.com/flights/#sear..._ALLIANCE;eo=e

https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...ORD0UA624;a=UA

It's still pretty brutal, but you can do these over several days. Do one run on 2/7 and another one on 2/14, or back to back, one on 2/7 and the other one on 2/8. Several options seem to be available for the same total $242
